About the Webinar
This FREE webinar is aimed at engaging with NGOs working in various sectors. The objective is for Monk Prayogshala to extend its expertise as a research organisation and to learn from the field experiences of various NGOs. Additionally, the webinar will provide a platform to explore meaningful partnerships with Monk Prayogshala and with other NGOs that can result in effective interventions aimed at social and economic changes across communities. Rather than purely being instructional, we hope to encourage an open learning environment to enable more collaboration and synthesis of existing expertise in domains such as development, gender, and mental health in India.
Research for/with NGOs
Civil society partners often address several social issues that are at the core of achieving better and more inclusive livelihoods for all. There is often an understated need to document tireless efforts to reform society through social interventions, which can be in the form of rigorous research.
Research is an integral part of the process of monitoring and evaluation of a particular intervention.
It is crucial to influencing policies at the local and national level
Research enables engagement with other partners--donors, implementation partners, government agencies, academics, and researchers.
Documentation of experience and best practices in the field so that an NGO generates organised knowledge that can be communicated well.
Publishing the NGO’s experiences in their own sector is a valuable way to disseminate information about an intervention.
